I love happy romantic love stories. Who doesn’t? Lol
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess. She had a gorgeous frilly fluffy purple dress. She stayed home all day and learned to be a Suzie Homemaker. She was the best sewer and cooker in the land. She waited day after day for her prince to come and sweep her off her feet.
One beautiful magical day, a prince came to the kingdom. He had the most beautiful purple suit the princess had ever seen. He was tall, strong and smiled so shyly at her. Then he did the sweetest thing, he waved a cute little finger crinkling wave. Gave her a sheepish half grin, and his eyes twinkled just so. She was smitten. Never had she seen someone so beautiful and perfect. To everyone in the land he was strong and stern, the perfect leader. She waited patiently for him to be introduced to her. She was so very shy and didn’t think that he paid her much attention.
At the royal dinner, a deal was discussed for the young couple to marry. Although the princess fell in love with him the moment she laid eyes on him, she didn’t want him to be stuck with her if he didn’t feel the same way for her. So she mustered all of her courage and asked to speak. “Father, I have something to say,” she started. All eyes turned to her.
“I think the prince and I should have a moment to speak to one another.” Luckily her father agreed.
They finished dinner and headed out for a walk. He walked by her side, strong and silent. She didn’t know what to say or how to get the conversation started. She noticed he had a goofy grin on his face.
“Why are you grinning like that,” she asked. “Like what,” he said. The grin still firmly in place.
She was quite flustered, but found herself giggling nervously. Before she knows it, they are both laughing but neither know why. He begins acting like a big gorilla, chasing her up and down the road while they both continue to laugh. He is nothing like she thought he would be. So strong and stern, but for her, he was a big goofy teddy bear. She loved how he made her feel, and with very few words they knew they were destined to be together.
They returned to the castle, hand in hand, knowing they were starting the first night of the rest of their lives. They married, had children and had the best life. The lived long, and enjoyed all their children, and their children, and their children, and they always cherished each other. They lived happily, ever after, only having eyes for each other.
