I love football. So much so that I wished I was a boy growing up so I could play. Anytime the boys were playing I was right there. They would tackle me hard, give me bloody noses, pick me last and never throw me the ball, but I was always the first one there ready to play. They always made me play defense, so I would just have to work that much harder to make plays and touch the ball.
All I ever wanted to do was play, but of course my dad would not let me. My brother got to go to the pro games, and they talked football all the time. I don’t care about players and stats or trades etc. I look for the true lovers of the game and love to see how happy it makes them to just be out there and play.
Richard Sherman is by far my favorite player. He loves to talk trash and gets in their head. He intercepts a lot. Big into contact and overall just kicks booty. That is how I like to play, physical and all over them. If you are gonna play a contact sport, lets make some contact. 🙂
So I sit here watching the game biting my fingernails and just wanting them to hit the niners and knock them down. I love this game. Really all I would want to do is be on that field and playing my heart out. I wouldn’t want to coach, I would want to play.
So I sit here, cheering on my boys. We got this, keep your chins up, head in the game and play it like you love it and we will be fine. Go Hawks!!
